Elizabeth II. war länger als jeder andere britische Monarch vor ihr auf dem Thron. Sie war Staatsoberhaupt von Grossbritannien und Nordirland und mehr als einem Dutzend weiterer Staaten, darunter Kanada, Neuseeland und Australien. Mit ihrem Tod geht eine Ära zu Ende.
